I started on 1.5mm and have got up to 6mm now.. (Over the course of about a month.. Some I did only wait a couple of days.. but that was the small ones, and I was extra careful. I am only going up to 8mm so they have a chance of shrinking back to normal should I not want them anymore but I still know that they might not but I also know my body and how quick my piercings heal to know it will..
But yeah I can't understand how anyone can stretch straight to 10mm or 16mm in one go.. you run the risk of blow outs or even splitting your earlobes//
